When I was a child, I mostly wished to wear stars on my face and to touch the moon at night. I used to assume that the moon was a light bulb that blew up at night when we really required brightness. However, these places are not in my approach because they are not from the Earth planet.

But… But… But… Do you know, there are some places on the planet Earth that feel like they are from another planet? The reason behind this logic is that they make us feel like, we are not on the earth, but another similar planet.

If I get a chance to visit places on the whole earth, then I would choose some specific places to plan my world trip. Or maybe, I would like to plan my honeymoon to visit such extraordinary places. Do you wanna know what places they are? If so, then continue reading!

Here, I have put together some places that don’t feel like they are from the planet Earth.

1. Fly Geyser | Nevada

Fly Geyser is a place in Nevada, that came into existence by human errors. That’s why most people address it as a man made wonder of the world. A private land in Washoe owns the beauty of these geothermal geysers loaded with minerals.

In 1964, a geothermal drilling company came across the land in Washoe to drill a test well. The company won, but at what cost? After drilling, they left the well uncapped and caused to exist of three Geysers that through minerals out of them.

2. Grand Prismatic Spring | Yellowstone

The Grand Prismatic Spring is located in the Yellowstone National Park in the United States of America. It is the largest spring in the USA and preserves the third position in the world in being largest. Hayden Geological Survey of 1871 was on the way and the geologists noticed that a spring was happening nearby.

The spring has bright and vivid colours that are because of the microbial mats of thermophilic bacteria. Further, it has a 110-meter area in diameter and throughs 560 US gallons of water at 70 degrees Celsius.

3. Rainbow Mountain | Peru

Vinicunca, aka Rainbow Mountain, came into existence because of various geological processes, like tectonic plate movement, mineral erosion and deposition, and weathering and erosion. Moreover, the colors in the rainbow on mountains are caused by a variety of minerals, like red by iron.

There are secrets under the water. Nah nah!… I am not talking about the Atlantis, but the Underwater Waterfall in Mauritius. This miraculous place is located on the offshore of Le Morne Peninsula. In addition, it is a 2.5-mile drop eye delusion, which occurs because of underwater volcanic activities.

You can hire a helicopter or Seaplane to get a view of such a beautiful Island and waterfall from the air. Now, it is up to you whether you want to visit this miraculous sight or not.

6. Salar de Uyuni Salt Flats | Bolivia

Salar de Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia is considered one of the extreme and most beautiful places in South America. This land covers the 4,050 square miles area of the Altiplano, which makes it the world’s largest salt flat. Although this lucrative extraction has salt and lithium, which you can experience to take a trip ride from Argentina.

This place has two noteworthy seasons: Rainy Season (December to April) and Dry Season (May to November). Travel Bucket: It is suggested that you should visit the place in the rainy season because you have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking mirror effect.

7. Vatnajokull Glacier | Iceland

This massive landscape gives tourists a variety of places to visit many times a year. According to me, the best time to visit the Vatnajökull is from December to February with your soulmate.

However, glacier hikes and skating are available all year long for tourists, whether they have a budget to stay for three days, six days, or a month. If you have a budget, then you should travel to experience how you can make fun of just snow.

8. Lake Natron | Tanzania

Finally, I have added a salt or alkane lake, named Lake Natron in Africa. If you want to make a visit, then you need to get a permit from the Wildlife Management Association (WMA). Although there are no restrictions to paying a visit by road or air, you can make it to the place both ways.

In Tanzania, you may encounter malaria so you need to preserve yourself carefully to not fall into such disease. Further, the lake is such a wonder of the world that will make your mouth shut with stunning visuals.
